The Offset Music

Hailing from Alexandria VA, The Offset is an alternative rock band who has been gaining a great reputation within their local scene and on the web because of their demo and gigs, sharing the stage with international acts the likes of The Wailers (former backing band of legendary reggae icon Bob Marley).

The Offset plays a very personal brand of indie rock, looking back at the lessons learned by icons such as The Beatles (and their trademark song structure) and The Kinks (with their emblematic guitar riffs), but also embedding the straight forward and modern approach of internationally acclaimed acts such as Incubus, The Foo Fighters and Dredg.

The band, consisting of vocalist Mike Richards, guitarist Burd Boonyoo, bassist Jonny Franks, and drummer Ken Yang continues to play shows and works relentlessly to improve the formula of their sound to continue growing toward a loyal fanbase.
