We’re the OGeeZ. We are a new band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Our sound has been compared to Frank Zappa and his contemporaries, and although that was not our intent when we started our musical journey just a few short months ago – we are honored with the comparison since Frank was one of our cultural icons. We’re more like Frank Zappa meets Tower of Power - with some blues mixed in for seasoning.

We started recording our music in late June and began putting our music on MySpace (www.myspace.com/theogeezz) shortly thereafter.

Our album The Seven Deadly Sins is our opening act in a stage event we play out in real life. We have chosen a more contemporary approach to our musical poetry in which we want our music to complement and enhance our storytelling. The Seven Deadly Sins is not about conveying a religious or spiritual message. On the contrary, we want to connect with our audience at an emotional level by telling tales about practical problems and challenges in life that each of us faces every day.
