Rock, Roots, Country

Such is when the souls of Victor Cullihall and Roberta Stubbs connected on a creative musical level and formed “The Mozzy Lane Band”.

Victor was born and raised in Newfoundland and started playing music at the very young age of five. At the same time in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley Roberta was singing into her hairbrush handle mimicking her idols. At this early age both people were passionately honing their God given gift of music and had clearly found their calling.

They eventually met in Vancouver in 1998 when Roberta answered a “female vocalist wanted” ad posted in the local Georgia Strait newspaper. This audition turned out to be a life changing moment for both of them. Since then they have been writing, composing and performing live shows in the Vancouver and the surrounding area.

Based in Vancouver BC, The Mozzy Lane Band has an original roots-rock style with a distinctive Canadian sound. Their music appeals to young and old audiences alike with varying musical tastes. The composing and song writing measures up with the best of them and Roberta's vocal range is amazing. Bottom line – The Mozzy Lane Band makes darn good music!!

The band just released a third CD entitled “Stay Tuned” and are planning shows later this year to promote the new material. Previously released CDs are available through online music distributors such as iTunes and Amazon. It is also available on their website along with contact information and upcoming shows.
