The Last Alliance began their journey near the end of 2008 by the inspiration of Knight Soul (drums / keyboard) and the drive of Nightfall (bass). Shortly after the two had started seeking other musicians, Anthony L. joined up and began lead guitar work. Talented rhythm guitarist, Sean S. would join as well, and in part, would help the band finalize the title 'The Last Alliance'. As time passed, both guitarists and the band's first singer (Jennifer S.) would part ways, leaving Knight Soul and Nightfall to essentially build the band from the beginning once more. Determined, both set out looking for the right musicians to continue the symphonic metal drive and share the music. The Outlaw (guitar) added his sound to the group in the early months of 2009, accompanied by lead guitarist, Kevin M. Though The Outlaw had only played for three years prior, he quickly gained the ability to play both rhythm and lead guitar work in the band's epic styled pieces. However, distance conflicts would prove a hardship for Kevin M. and he would not be able to continue his journey with The Last Alliance. Currently, The Outlaw has willingly taken on both roles in The Last Alliance until a replacement for the lead guitarist position can be found. Nightfall has added his bass skill into The Last Alliance since the project's birth, however he has also started to take a composing role recently with such songs as 'Faded'. Knight Soul, in the near future, will move to keys permanently once a professional drummer is found. While Knight Soul - who is the current drummer - has been the central composer, he is currently controlling his keyboard work from a unique electronic drum set mount. Last but not least, after searching for the right vocalist, Sara would join The Last Alliance providing the depth and character of operatic quality to the group’s blend of gothic and battle styled metal. In 2009, The Last Alliance became even more aggressive in their passion to share their music. Opening for acts such as Morality Check, Karen Page, and Epica in large venues and festivals, the ambition of the band became very clear. Traveling to surrounding cities, sometimes performing two shows in one night, The Last Alliance was growing a family of Metal. Their performances have stunned and surprised audiences, promoters, and critics with their emotional energy, outstanding ability, and the remarkable mixture of operatic vocals over such powerfully epic music.
