The Jude are a London-based rock ‘n’ roll band with a sound they describe as “vicious skiffle” - punchy, jerky, energetic music to get you dancing. Frontman Gav’s powerful Irish vocals growl over an energetic British rock ‘n’ roll sound – giving an all-round ‘London’ vibe. 'Ha Ha Goodbye' is The Jude's debut single release and was released on 25 April 2011. The energy in the music transmits amazingly live and they have played festivals and events such as Standon Calling, Relentless Boardmasters, the Red Stripe Music Awards, City Showcase and an Oxjam event hosted by Phil Clifton of MTV & XFM. The Jude have played with artists such as Tinie Tempah, and headlined the official Live Nation aftershow party for Kings of Leon last summer. Having just been invited by Friends of Mine Festival to play alongside the Cribs, Black Lips and Detroit Social Club; and recently been given airplay by the likes of John Kennedy (XFM) and Steve Lamacq (6 Music), The Jude are a fresh and exciting act that you want to hear before the secret is out.
