Terrible Things is a pop rock supergroup composed of former members of the bands Hot Rod Circuit, Taking Back Sunday, and Coheed and Cambria. The group formed in 2009 and released its debut album on the 31st August, 2010.

The band's debut album was produced by Jason Elgin and centered around an outbreak of arson events in member Fred Mascherino's birthplace, Coatesville, Pennsylvania. The album was released on Universal Records and debuted at #25 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

In 2010, Brian Weaver has joined the band as their bassist. The band was without a bassist before, and all bass tracks for their debut album were recorded by Lynam vocalist and guitarist Jacob Bunton.

On November 17, 2010, it was announced that the band will be touring as part of the Vans Warped Tour in the summer of 2011.
