THE BACKGROUND Music

After their sophomore ep release, "Today is the Tomorrow we Worried About Yesterday", The Background did extensive east/west coast touring, establishing a name for themselves among some of the biggest national acts to date including: The Bravery, Eisley, Bowling For Soup, Danger Radio, PlayRadioPlay, Lydia, Brighten, Before the Fall, Cassino, and many more; and playing shows in states such as TX, AZ, CA, NM, FL, OK and LA. In 2007, the single "keep On" from that ep was featured in MTV's Laguna Beach, and caught national airplay in states like TX, CA, IN, IL, OK, as well as many online and college radio stations. In late 2007 the band went on hiatus to find musical grounds. In the summer of 2009, The Background reformed with new members and new music and are even going BACK into the studio with Dallas-based producer-guru BRYAN DAVID with a followup "comeback" show scheduled for late September along with the release of new music, pics, videos, and tours.
