STEVE JONES is an experienced live entertainer, vocalist, musician and performer. Penticton audiences remember him as the singer and guitarist of the local dance band, “LOOSE CHANGE” in the late 90's. After he became a member of The Amazing Rubber Band in 2000, it was evident Steve’s sweet, high vocal range — as a harmonist and especially as a lead vocalist — would be instrumental (pardon the pun!) in creating the A.R.B."s unique sound.Steve is also an accomplished songwriter and recording artist. His 1999 CD "Full Circle" single "You've Got A Way" received local airplay and the album provides an insight to his songwriting abilities — both as a collaborator and, in his own rite, as a solo song craftsman.

In 2006, Steve released Acoustic Bootleg. A limited edition collection of some of Steve's past and present original songs in acoustic form featuring the single "You Belong With Me" which also received local and national air play. He followed the album release with sold out live peformances of his original work.

Steve continues today to write and record his own projects and perform.

In 2008 Steve released Clear Blue Sky featuring the single "Empty Promises". The c.d. release concert sold out so quickly that plans are in the works for more solo shows in the near future.
