Sophisticated Rhythm Music

Amidst the snaps and drums of hip hop and fifteen minute dance moves, one sound stands alone. That sound is Sophisticated Rhythm. Born Craig Arin Campbell in Tulsa, OK, USA. At the early age of 5, he was influenced by major R&B and soulful recording artists, such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Lionel Ritchie and The GAP Band, just to name a few. Growing up in a home with a musician as a father figure also helped shape his desire to pursue a career in music. After several attempts of trying to invent himself as an artist he finally found his niche.

Sophisticated completed his first self-titled album, “Sophisticated Rhythm” in March 2010 featuring local hip hop artists. He can be seen at local clubs and bars giving away promotional t-shirts and cds. The album release party will be scheduled for early Summer 2011.

Sophisticated had his first radio debut in the Summer of 2009, which fueled his desire even more. After being on the radio, he began to seek out other unique styles to help him represent Tulsa, OK. In doing so, he stumbled upon a local artist by the name of Coke, who also had a strong passion for creating music. Collaborating with Coke led to the creation of several lively songs with a sound and style of their own.

Sophisticated made his first stage debut on October 17, 2009 featuring Coke at a local venue, BarCode. Sophisticated had a stage presence that kept the crowd engaged the entire show. The crowd gave exceptional feedback and the agency showed their appreciation by giving the artist a bonus and requesting future bookings.

Sophisticated will be traveling to Florida in April to discuss the next step for his album, “Sophisticated Rhythm.” He has much to offer the music community and only God knows what the future holds for this young and talented recording artist.
