Snuttock
Biography

From: MD, United States

Genre: Alternative/Alt. Rock, Industrial, Synthpop

Formed 2003 in Baltimore, the duo of Bryan Lee and Christopher Lee Simmonds (also a founding member of the progressive metal band Thought Industry), collectively make up the diverse pathology of electronics known as Snuttock. The group's first album, “Straight Jacket Life”, was released in 2005. It is a cohesive blend of Industrial, Synthpop, and at times Ambient textures. Critics have described the album as a “diverse collection of twisted tunes far outside the mainstream”, as well as “just enough weird and just enough groove makes Straight Jacket Life both fun and unusual”.

The group's second album, “Carved and Sutured”, was released in 2008. Comprised of both new material and dance-floor friendly remixes, it was well received by both DJs and critics. More than 2 years after it's release, the album continues to be spun by DJs worldwide.

Snuttock's latest offering comes in the form of music videos for the songs Spiders and Catharsis. They feature Mia Regalado and Rachelle Horowitz, and were shot and directed by Laurie A. Smith of L76Media Productions (www.LaurieASmith.com). Currently, Snuttock is working on their third studio album scheduled for release later this year. To learn more, visit www.snuttock.com
