Summer of 2010 marked a time for change. For Bill Moore, a talented keyboardist, composer, and producer in San Diego, CA, change was inevitable. After developing his music in a number of successful projects, he was ready to try something new. Bill had ideas for songs that he knew could only be realized with the help of his former band mates, Ryan Vernazza and Craig Hoffman. Ryan was a brilliant guitarist with the ability to set a unique style to every song. He added his flair to various bands, building his musical resume. Craig was a true artist on drums. His innovative techniques and stage presence were unsurpassed. Together, they began building the foundations for an album that would prove to be a change for the better.

As the music formed and the album progressed, the trio searched for a singer/lyricist to bring a voice to the band. By early Fall of 2010, it was Chelley who answered the call. Her ear for melody and poetic nature made her an ideal fit for the group. After the swift recording of Rearview, Drowning, and Cluster, the band knew they had found something extraordinary in each other. With live shows begging to be dominated, the talented Dakota Sigl found her place as bass player & backup vocalist. Simple Mantra was born.

Now on the verge of the release of their debut album, Ashes of June, Simple Mantra is gaining momentum. With upcoming shows and tours, the band will reach fans and new audiences all over. They begin filming the music video for their song Cluster soon, as well as a behind the scenes look at the band and the music. With a flood of creativity from every member, the band has a pool of ideas that will keep the music fresh and original. Change is now, and Simple Mantra is only scratching the surface...
