At 16years old already towering over his classmates at 6’2 Shock seems to get the are you a “basketball player “question often. He looks as if he would be just that but Shock has a different career goal in mind. At the age of 11 Shock began playing drums for his church, without any lessons he seemed to get the hang of staying on rhythm pretty quick. Shock also began listening to hip/hop & Rap on the internet and making up rhymes to the instrumentals of his favorite tunes. That’s when he discovered that he would like to write and perform music. Shock recorded his first mix tape titled Richie Rich in 2010 after his mother heard him rapping to himself in his room. Once his friends and family received the news their reply was we’re “Shocked” not knowing of his secret interest of becoming an artist. He decided to use this as his artist name to represent the facial expressions of his friends and family once they heard the news. With the support of his mother, Shock has strived to become a well known artist ever since. He has been featured on Empire State Mixtapes Vol. 5 hosted by Benny Demus of Konvict Music as well as vol.195 & 215 on Coast2Coast mixtape.com.
