Scene & Hurd Productions consists of a mother-son writer-composer duo. Karen Hurd has written 9 musical-dramas in the past decade, and is lyricist for Scene & Hurd Productions. Composer David Hurd has collaborated on several new musicals and currently plays in numerous venues with his band Kneel as lead singer and guitarist. He holds a Music degree in piano.

Karen & David's most recent collaboration is a mystery-musical to premiere at the State Theatre in Eau Claire, Wisconsin January 2011, "The Lumber Baron". They have just released a CD entitled "The Threshing", a soundtrack from their original musical by that same name. "Love Me" is one of the tracks on this album.
