Rose Ostrowski is an eight-year old third grader from PA. It’s obvious how much she enjoys singing and her love of all types of music seems to blossom daily. Although she is a fan of The Beatles, Rose tends to lean towards opera music. Aside from singing, Rose plays piano at a piano school that is local to her area.
If you like this song, please purchase a copy through iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, etc, as Rose has hopes that her cover song sells many copies. All of the funds generated from sales will be directly donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of her 21-year old cousin, Camillia Stiller, who passed away from the disease earlier this year.
Originally composed by The Beatles, Ostrowski’s release of “Let it Be” was recorded in November by Bill Leverty, who is known worldwide as being the guitarist and one of the founding members of rock band, FireHouse. Leverty is also a solo artist and has produced many albums and cover singles and with the exception of the drums, he put together the composition for Rose’s version of the Beatles’ hit. The drummer used for the production was none other than Andre LaBelle. Like Leverty, LaBelle is a well-known musician he has been honored to work with many artists, such as KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent, Richie Kotzen, Michael Monarch of SteppenWolf, among others.
