The California-based Rocco DeLuca and the Burden was originally formed as a four-piece American indie rock band in late 2005. Previous to this, Rocco DeLuca himself was a solo artist who opened for artists like Taj Mahal, John Mayer and John Lee Hooker, and has had the opportunity to play with Johnny Cash.
