I have been writing songs for over ten years now. My last Cd, which was released in April 2011 had some good responses. I am an independent artist and do not tour, but instead am focusing on writing and recording the best music I can. I have a new Cd available in February 2012 called "Love is the Power" which I'm excited to hear the responses. The first cd can be found on itunes (search Richard Anthony Connected...the cover of the cd is a tree) and the second cd will be available in February 2012 on itunes as well.

"Even If" was written in response to my family that would ask me how I could foster a child...that it would be hard to become attached, only to risk watching them go back home later. The point of the song is that no matter what happens, the time we had together makes it worth it. There are other instances when someone may have to leave, even though the love is shared between the two. It could be due to military service, a move to a new town, graduation....but I'm sure most of us had to 'move on' and leave someone we cared for behind. It reminds me of one of my favorite Dr. Suess quotes "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" I had someone tell me that it inspired them to adopt themselves, which made the cd worth all the effort. I'm hoping my latest cd will inspire others in other ways as well.
