Red River is a group of three, hailing from west of the Mississippi River in Minnesota and from the beautiful island of Maui in Hawaii.

Husband and wife team, David and Michelle Anderson, each write and perform their own compositions, along with great friend, Dale Boylen, a master acoustic guitarist and singer/songwriter.

David is the group’s producer, and he is responsible for creating the “Red River” sound, as well as for adding almost all of the instrumentation to the group’s recordings.

Michelle is a superb lyricist and an artist who makes her home within the Americana genre. She tries to add a touch of Lucinda Williams and a sprinkling of Rosanne Cash to her songs. David is a true rocker, taking a cue from legends such as the Doors and the Rolling Stones; and Dale is a singer/songwriter who has been influenced by artists like Dan Fogelberg and John Denver.

Together, these three diverse artists come together to form the eclectic band known as Red River.
