He promoted the album with performances mainly in the country’s two major cities, Pretoria and Cape Town. He has also become a regular performer in the Boland, Stellenbosch-Paarl area of South Africa.
In early 2010 Broid was back in the studio. With the new album, Quinten has set foot on a different path since his first self release, self titled album. Other Projects
The WE NEED LOVE FUND
Early in 2009 Quinten founded the WE NEED LOVE FUND. Quinten, with fellow musician friends, donates a percentage of their earnings from performances into this fund to buy musical instruments to donate to individuals in communities where needed. “We assist with the training or in some cases we find suitable music teachers”.
“Our mission is to encourage youngsters to become active musicians. One instrument can save a dream and bring the community closer together. It’s much needed in South Africa.”
