Peaches and Herb: Colors of Love

Peaches and Herb is back with their new CD, Colors of Love on the Imagen Records label (www.imagenrecords.com). Scheduled for May 2009 release, this CD will be Herb Fame’s first all new album release since the comeback hits, “Shake Your Groove Thing” (1978), “Reunited” (1979) (Pop and R&B), and “Bluer Than Blue” (1982). Herb Fame has been consistently entertaining audiences with a career spanning over 40 years. Making up the female half of this powerful duo, Herb Fame has enlisted the talents of an incredibly gifted vocalist to take on the reigns of “Peaches”, Meritxell (Mah-dĭ-chell) Negre. Her voice brings a fresh quality to the duo that most certainly represents Peaches and Herb at its best.

Herb Fame and “Peaches and Herb” have been a frequent performer on PBS and other shows, and Herb keeps a tight booking schedule while still on active duty with the U.S. Marshall Service. Herb wants his Colors of Love to cross genres and demographics, much the way “Shake Your Groove Thing” and “Reunited” rode both Pop and R&B charts. So, you’ll hear contemporary music with an Old School-flavor, and Herb being Herb along with Peaches’ amazing vocals in well-arranged and performed songs.

Now with this new CD, Colors of Love will speak to a whole new generation of fans and rekindle the excitement of seasoned fans alike. Colors of Love includes stunning artwork designed specifically for the CD by well known artist Peter Max. Colors of Love will be released in May 2009.
