Paul O’Rear was born and raised in the South Texas town of Alice, and now lives in the Dallas area. He has spent most of his adult life serving as a minister, primarily a youth minister. The song “Until Then” was written in memory of his daughter Ashley, who died of cancer at age 14.

I'm so sorry for your loss and what you had to go through but I'm so happy that God gave you the strength to come through it and that He gave you this amazing song. I would listen to this on my cd player in my car if I could! How inspiring.
