Paper Chasers is an interracial Hip Hop group from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 2005, twin brothers Deane (Venom) and Devin (Kasanova) Walden had a vision for music. Through this vision, they were inspired to form an elite group of style, finesse, and a sound all of their own and became “Paper Chasers” (PC for short). As time progressed and while working on their craft, many members were added. First, after meeting Sterling Ogletree (Tsunami Black) in early high school who sat next to Kasanova in class, they decided to join forces and start working on music together. And few months later, the group added another member, Vance (Case-Closed) Rhett, who brought a sort of old school Hip Hop feel to the group. And from there, it’s just been hard work and dedication.

As the group moves forward five years strong, PC now consist of Venom, Kasanova, Tsunami Black, Case-Closed and Face. And although there have been some setbacks, they never allowed those obstacles to steer them away from their goal of bringing a new sound to the masses.

They have performed at many of clubs throughout the Richmond area and beyond. They are also currently in the 3rd round of Young Jeezy’s “Making the Next Hit”. Their music has been featured on Richmond’s 92.1 FM and well as numerous DJ mixtapes including one hosted by DJ Fahrenheit.
