Nevergreen is a product of experimentation. Its members, all originating from upstate New York, have roots ranging from metal and punk rock, to pop and hip-hop. This combination, along with influences such as No Doubt, Incubus, RX Bandits and Sublime, yielded a blend of progressive rock and reggae, and the "je ne sais quoi" that is Nevergreen. They released their first studio production, "The Light Show EP," in 2008. In 2010 they released "The People to Paradise EP" and the "Roc City X-mas" single. Nevergreen immediately began working on their first full-length record. In July of 2011, the music video for the band's single "Platinum Pedestal" debuted and "A Lesson in Leisure LP" was released in September. Well on their way into pre-production of their next release, the outfit still currently maintains a busy schedule performing in Rochester, NY and surrounding areas, sharing the stage with National acts such as Soulive, John Brown's Body and The Movement. Nevergreen continues to evolve, defining its existence in the music world.
