Nana was born in Amsterdam on March 14th 1989, where she lived with her father (from Ghana) and her mother (from Holland). She danced all trough her youth. From ballet, hip hop to latin dance and also modelled for brands like HEMA. She started singing and writing songs when she was 13, right after her father passed away. " He has always been my nr one inpriration "..

When she was 16, she started modelling again and became finalist in the Miss ghana beautypageant. After this she got an interest for pageants, sat in the jury for several several of them and hosted the modelcompetition: Model4Paris. She modelled for brands like: Unzipped(in Holland), Ganesha Ibiza(in Swiss), Rabobank(in Holland) and many more. She also appeared in dutch shows: Grijpstra & De Gier (a crime soap) and Meiden van de Wit (a family soap).

After appearing in these shows they asked her to star in a new realitysoap on RTL5 (Hollands nr one tvstation). They named the show: 'Can't buy me love' a second version of 'De Gouden Kooi'. The show got allot of publicity. She was sponsered by the Marc Ecko Red clothingline and also did a promo shoot for them..

Nana was signed by Talpa Productions, where she also made Dutch music. She decided to wait untill her contract was over to focus on her number one passion: Singing and writing in English. Her contract ended May 2009, after which she wrote songs, recorded them and shot a video for the song 'Deja Vu' with G4.
