"Technically Motion Theory are on to some really promising ideas and have the competence to see it through. Singer Dom has an impressive range, the guitar and bass work are superb...this band have all the makings of something special indeed."

"'Featherhead': a debut album loaded with top notch alt prog rock. Filled with firing guitar solos, winding melodies and topped off by Dom's knee melting voice. Motion Theory brings you alternative progressive rock at its best." [11/13]

"With hints of classical music, Radiohead, Rush, Led Zeppelin, but also Japan and many others, their sound is very eclectic, yet modern progressive....there's more to be expected of this band in the coming years."

"'Featherhead', released late last year, announced their arrival as Manchester's reigning head boys of cerebral heavy rock - combining the dense, almost industrial textures of Nine Inch Nails with the expansive, anthemic rock dynamics of Muse and Radiohead."
