M.C. Swiggz roots are grounded in music and performance. During his early years he became enamored with poetry and spoken word. Swiggz at the time started writing lyrics and rapping under the name Enocent, Swiggz budded into a rap artist and began performing solo by the age of fourteen. Since then, he has written and produced numerous original songs, as well as contributed to some great collaborative works. M.C. Swiggz has independently released 3 full-length albums: How The World Has Changed (2001), The End of The Beginning (2003) and Movin' On (2008). In addition, he wrote and co-produced several tracks from Monsters (2002), an album by Eli Mattson. Recently, M.C. Swiggz has been working with producers BosBeats (Canada) Midnightview (Los Angeles), Jeremy Cummings (Colorado), David Mayfield (Los Angeles), Nick On Tha Beat and J-Styles (Atlanta). M.C. Swiggz was asked why he thought people liked his music, and he responded "I find it very important to keep my music real and down to earth. That's a big reason why I think it has a pretty universal appeal. I try to make sure no matter who you are, what you do, or where you are from, you can still find appreciation for it." His music, a harmonious fusion of hip-hop with elements of rock, jazz, blues, techno and pop, strikes a chord with music lovers of all genres. M.C. Swiggz has a unique feel for hip-hop music and the ability to mix raw energy with anything he touches. Its no wonder hes been invited to perform as a guest artist with so many bands, including Little Blue Crunchy Things, Groove Session, Big Mouth, Tony Brown, Cathy Braaten Band, Green Scene, The Sam Brooker Band, Pat Macdonald, Chris Aaron, and The Eli Mattson Band. M.C. Swiggz has also performed with members of Mint Condition, Timbuck 3, Chump Service and Intel Agents. From reggae to rock, punk to pop, musicians know that M.C. Swiggz has the skill to compliment any style and get people moving. M.C. Swiggz has been expanding into Music Video Film Production and sound Engineering while working on his new upcoming full length album.
