From: MA, United States
Genre: Rock, Modern Rock, Hard Rock
Aggressive, raw, and melodic, Living Syndication is the blend of rhythmic aggression, with melodies and harmonies reminiscent of the Seattle days. Fusing East-Indian melodies and rock dynamics, something never done before in the genre, the band breaks new ground and tests the boundaries of contemporary hard rock.
Their sound has been compared to bands such as TOOL, A Perfect Circle, Staind, Incubus, Alice in Chains, Three Days Grace, and yet all these comparisons fall short when one takes a listen to their music.
Living Syndication released their 18 TRACK whopping masterpiece, ANEURYTHM. Selling out at all Newbury Comics and FYE retail stores in Massachusetts and New Hampshire within the first 2 weeks of release, people have been buzzing with the new sound of the band, and they've received radio airplay on WAAF, WGIR, WBCN, WFNX, and more. It's no wonder they've been selling out shows all over the East Coast.
Sylvia Massy, producer of TOOL said, "I'm really impressed by this album, it's really incredible."
She's not alone in her sentiments, one look at LS' iTunes and Retail sales gives you a clear picture, this is a band about to blow up.
Although they've been together for only a short time, Living Syndication has generated a ground swell of attention that screams for you to recognize their talent. Hailing from the city of Boston, Living Syndication was formed by lead singer Pervez Taufiq. As what can described as a minor phenomenon, within a month of forming, they received impromptu airplay on New York's radio heavy hitter KROCK for a song titled "Restrain". "We don't even know how they got the track," said singer Pervez Taufiq. Indeed, the band was being played on a spotted list of radio stations at the time without even releasing anything other than allowing downloads on the internet.
Since then, the band has played with numerous acts, including, Korn, Taproot, Halestorm, Days Of The New, Drowning Pool, Shinedown, Lacuna Coil, Kill Hannah, Sevendust, Nonpoint, Filter, Earshot, Audiovent, OTEP, and the like. Their song "13 Minutes" is featured in a New Line Cinema film, and their new single "Hurt Someone" is featured in an upcoming XBOX / PS2 game. With a ever growing presence on radio and the internet, Living Syndication has generated a buzz which is undeniable. Their current website generates about 1.7 Gigabytes of downloads monthly (200 downloads daily).
