What a great guitar player. I have been a fan since the 70s. Yeah, "Pamela Brown" should be on here for sure! That was a hit for hi. So what's up with that? Also "Tilt Billings abd the Student Prince".

and of course Crow River Waltz. damn shame the Minnesota DNR dynamited the damns at Berning Mill Pond and upstream at Hanover- yuppie idiots kept breaking their necks from time to time and then one of their relatives had some juice. So I asked the Minnesota DNR re:walleye spawning at Berning Mill Pond and they said AND MAY I QUOTE: "The walleyes will just have to go somewhere else".

I was the very young idiot that attempted to walk through the plate glass door at the original Whole Coffeehouse at 7 (5?) Corners Leo. Surely you recall the Armadillo Records recording where you can here me trying? You know- the one where your voice cracked on "Mary, Mary" and it turned white around the edge and started to crumble?. No worries all I really need to hear is Vaseline Machine gun over and over and over, Mary Mary, and Hole-in-the-Day Lake (Brainerd area) and Why are you not in the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame? How did you do what you did live faced as you were back then? I understand based on a conversation I had with your manager in the late 70's at the back door to wherever you were playing at Christmas late 70's in Minneapolis you added Juneau to your tour schedule. When I played your stuff at KJNO in the early 70's I got calls asking who is this? "Its Leo Kottke" I responded.

I'd long forgotten about this fella. Great to hear him once again. Got a singing voice like a turtle's fart, but I like turtle farts!
