At age 19, I wanted to switch from training as a pianist to train as singer instead. The director of the Conservatoire said : ''Lets be serious, you are a pianist.'' Due to economic difficulties, I finished my training and became a pianist. Seven years ago, I was looking for a voice teacher for my daughter. We have been studying voice ever since. It took me 35 years to finally be whom I so desired to be : a singer. Thanks to my daughter. I now perform professionally as a chamber music vocalist in small ensembles and as a chorister with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. I also perform early music and Renaissance dances in theatre production, and with my group : Damsel & Swains.
