“ Amazing! And there I was thinking that Bach died in 1750. Here he is on Jango. Or has Jango since figured out the Bach is the composer and that they don't actually know who the artist is. If so Congratulations on that at least. I'm afraid it reminds me of the Idiot American woman I met in Prague who was going to the Opera House to hear Don Giovanni but she "didn't know what he was going to play". NOTE FOR JANGO PERSONNEL: "Don Giovanni" is the name of an opera. I'm Harmonica Dave. Not to be confused with Sonny Boy Williamson whose music I sometimes play and who, like J.S. Bach is deceased. I hope that is clear. I don't want to make anyone's brain hurt. ”

“ Kudos to Jango for having a Bach channel! I had the privilege this year to hear the entire Bach Millennium Edition, thanks to an iPod specially prepared with that repertoire. It fulfilled a lifelong dream: to be able to hear Bach's entire repertoire. Having heard it, I truly know now that Bach's genius can hardly be underestimated. At the same time, having heard much of Handel's work too, it's understandable why Handel was more respected in his own time; his music was more accessible. ”
