JOEY SMOKES BIO

"I'm Not Ready"(2012) is Joey Smokes first of more than 40 songs that he would love the world to hear. It has been added to over 200 Station play lists and is doing Awesome on YouTube and FaceBook. It has also received numerous post from fans stating "Great Song" "Wow" "Amazing". It is definitely one not to miss. His Second song will be the icing on the cake.

Joey Smokes is going to keep pushing Good Rock Music and Music Videos as long as he can and with the great support and response he is getting it seems like his life long dream will come true.

Joey grew up in Temple City, California in the late 80's early 90's and in high school the late 90's to early 2000's. So he has a wide range of musical influence. By the time he was 6 he had hundreds of tapes (and a few Cd's) of rock bands from the 60's up to the 90's. He loves music and it's obvious. He had long hair and rocker shirts and holes in his jeans. As much as he loved to play on his bike or skateboard he loved to play fake Rock Concerts.

Joey has always been in choir/band and at age 9 he started humming chorus lines and verses to himself then around 13 Joey started writing lyrics and singing songs. At 14 he decided to pick up the guitar and teach himself to write songs. Because he was very busy with school, playing sports, choir and working, at a young age, to support himself, he really had to try hard to squeeze in his dreams, like so many people do. Well he did and he will never give up.

Joey has been working like crazy in Construction, 10 hour plus days, since high school and has been working on his Music late nights for many years. The past 4 years he has been really working hard and is ready to go. Joey knows how awesome life is and is willing to Work and Work to achieve as many goals as possible.

Joey Smokes will try hard to release a new song and video every few months for the next 3 to 4 songs and would like to put out an EP in or before December, Then start Planning some amazing Shows early next year while working on his 1st Album.
