Joe Allen was born and raised in South Western Idaho, an area where cowboys still ride the range, farming thrives, & an abundance of wildlife is available for avid hunters, such as Joe. His fascination with music developed at a very early age when his grandmother began teaching him to sing. His dad and uncle were also in a band when Joe was young and that helped to inspire him to pursue music even farther, but, it wasn’t until the late 90’s that he decided he would make music his career and that he would be able to support his family by doing what he loved. Since then he has been a bass player, backup singer and lead singer with a select few bands and has toured the Western United States.
In 2012 Joe went to Nashville to record his debut album, JUST WARMIN' UP. The album is nothing short of amazing. Joe set out to create an album that had something for everyone and he nailed it. Most of Joe's songs are high energy, in your face, ROCKIN' country! The music goes perfectly with the ltrics to take you on a journey and make you feel what Joe and the writer were feeling when these songs came together. Some of our songs are a little slower, some are intospective, and some are just fun. Whatever you're looking for in a song, chances are, one of our songs will fit your idea of a great song! We do what we do because we love it. It's even more rewarding when we can take YOU along with us on an emotional roller coaster ride. We are most alive when we get to watch our fans get pumped up with songs like "Can't Take These Things" , "Devils Ride", or "Raisin Hell Tonight"; Seeing couples look at eachother and laugh when they hear "Looks Like It's Raining"; even seeing grown men well up with tears when they hear "Worlds' Greatest Dad". These are just some of the songs you will enjoy on this album and we have many more in the works! We're going to keep doing what we love and hope to see you on the "Side Road".
