I saw them in the early 90's in Pula, a little town on the Balkans. There was a lot of festivals there in the good old times, when people from all Europe had been arriving in my city just to be part of this events, and this one was a real small Woodstock 2... Jethro Tull as a special guest. I started to love them more after I saw their live performance, were really great ”

Ian Anderson is eccentric and delighful. I was fortunate enough to chat with him before his first show in Vancouver in 1969. Magic man he would go into the audience and meet and greet before stunning us with his music. Love him! ”
“
He was unique and his music style stood apart from the rest of the groups. I've never heard anyone play a flute like he did. When I went to a concert of his I was in awe as I watched him on stage. Couldn't say for sure nowadays if it was the flute, his hair or his tights which impressed me the most... ”

Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull helped me to formulate my understanding of what is important about good music, and Ian's lyrical perspectives influenced my world view. This was and is an important group of musicians when it comes to the development of modern music. They have had their successes and failures, as does anyone who amasses such a vast body of work. Truly innovators in the art of music. ”
