Pop+ R&b + Edge= Jay Saint. With a unique sound, captivating presence and a humbling personality this young man is on his way to Stardom. Born and raised in Jersey City New Jersey Jay's future as well as the future of his generation was constantly assumed. Drug dealing or ending up behind bars were the only predicted outcomes for the growing youth. Jay's parents knew that their son wasn't going to be a statistic. He was destined for better, he was destined for greatness. Being that Jay's parent became overprotected, he used most of his time writing songs and participating in athletics. In High School, he never felt comfortable singing. Not that he was shy, but nervous of what people would think of this tough football player wanting to be a singer. Jay soon got over that fear and amazed students and facility members. It was then he realized, that the spotlight would soon be his home. Although Jay's talent was a reality to others, it wasn't to him. Life growing up was challenging, personally and financially for the young star. Overwhelming course of events pushed him to get to college on his own. Jay received a full scholarship to play football for Elizabeth City Sate University. It was a huge accomplishment for him. Out of school for the semester Jay is now focusing on his music. Embracing every aspect of his artistry, he literally morph into a different person. He became Jay Saint. With combined elements of Pop, R&B, and Rockstar persona, Jay found himself. Not forgetting who he is and where he came from but knowing where he's going and what's at stake."The Grind is Serious" he says, "First Come, First Serve." Being compared to Prince, Joe, even called a male Britney Spears, Jay stresses that he plans to be the first Jay Saint. That position is up for grabs. Undeniable talent, futuristic style and a completely new sound, Unsigned won't be his label for long.
