JAMSET is a collaborative collection of musicians based in the Cincinnati metro area that play smooth jazz/fusion/r&b. They perform regionally and nationally. Led by bassist Kerry "Poppa Smurf" Jordan (featured in Bass Player Magazine February 2012 edition), the core group (bass, keys, drums, vocals) is influenced by such artists as Fourplay, Pieces of a Dream, Alex Bugnon, Bob James, Yellowjackets, Crusaders. For a small unit, JAMSET packs a full sound that resonates with the audience emotionally. JAMSET performs renditions of songs from various genres of music putting their special touch and character to the music that shines and heats the audience to wanting more..............
