Born and raised in Bluefield, West Virginia, Anthony “Izzy Iz” Isabelle was first introduced to rap in high school. Watching his peers rap during lunch time, he was inspired by their delivery and style. During his senior year, Izzy Iz began to develop his own rap skills. In college, Izzy Iz linked up with his child hood friend City Kee and produced his smash hit “Back 2 Hip Hop.”

With the success of “Back 2 Hip Hop” surrounding him, Izzy Iz is in high demand. He is currently featured on IMradio.com. He has numerous features in magazines, on radio stations and has a worldwide fan base. Furthermore Back 2 Hip Hop has received a platinum Auddy Award onUplaya.com. Izzy Iz recently dropped his second mix tape, I’m Still Here, in July, and it has created a major underground buzz. Since then he has released 3 more mixtapes to show everyone he is the real deal.  Those titles are BaK 2 $kooL, White Gurlz & Gud Green, and a collaboration mixtape with City Kee called The Life and Times of a Country Boy. His mixtape Bak 2 $kooL gained the attention of Industryallaccess.com, which led to an article/ interview that led to Rockstar energy drink wanting to sponsor him. It doesn't end there because shortly after that he obtained interest from an A&R at Warner Bros. records. Video games and internet radio stations have also reached out to the up and coming artist from West Virginia. Izzy Iz has become an internet sensation having been featured on the top music sites. He was selected last year by DJ Kay for the unsigned mixtape titled Time 2 Grind. Izzy Iz  currently has a song titled, “Vroom Vroom” with Mims that is taking the industry by storm.
