"Ehh ummm, Miki Traczyk here, broadcasting straight from Cold Desert on Protus 6! You see, err' I'm one of the electric operators of Infinite I - my crusade against the dictatorships of time! Here to tell you about our new single 'The White Snake? The Iguana'. It is now readily available to all corners of the universe, free of charge. I've had the gang pair this with a song called 'Third Eye' to keep it company and truly warm things up a bit."
Infinite I brings together the theatrical magic of early Bowie, with a modern sound that crosses the eclectic plains of Scott Walker and Beck. The music encompasses both the cinematic gestures of Lalo Schifrin, and the playful troubadour nature of Devendra Banhart, at the same time invoking the wordplay of W.S. Burroughs. Casting a bright light to new realms of the imagination!
Comprised of a total of 38 artists that combine to create, music, costumes, stories and artwork from southern Ontario, Canada.
Infinite I is a community for all types of art.
Infinite I is theatre.
Infinite I is music!
The Infinite I began with just one.
After encountering an estranged seeress, Miki Traczyk found himself trapped within one of the many dimensions of our universe. The same dimensions that he believes we all first scour for eternal life. Crushed by the knowledge of his own death Miki seeks to elude fate with the elixir of life; the Enery.
Miki stumbled upon a crash-site and recovered the body of Mercury, an inter-universal explorer who had his soul revoked by the Banshees for violations against The New Empire of All People. Mercury decided to travel with Miki in hopes of regaining his soul.
Shortly after the crash Mercury and Miki were confronted by Scripter, a ramshackle psychopomp. He had been assigned to deliver both Mercury and Miki to the afterlife, but when neither complied to release themself to him, Scripter found himself guiding a warship into a calm bay.
Wandering through the vast deserts of a dimension known as Protus 6 the three came about an exiled creature known only to them as the Jackal. Banished for betraying the Banshees, Miki offered his help returning the Jackal to it's family in exchange for information about the Enery.
This crusade exists within the infinite, as all does. In every moment we are together and we are apart. We are infinitely individual and here in the same. Together as once was one, we create The Infinite I.
