Giscard Nazon is a composer and violinist from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. His music is a blend of Haitian rhythms and elements of folk music, traveling through various musical landscapes, among them genres such as Classical, Latin, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Dancehall and Zouk, which are his main influences. His main expression is instrumental music and some of its distinctive flavors include Konpa, Rasin, Baroque, Latin and Electronic. Giscard Nazon attended the Holy Trinity Music School in Port-au-Prince where he studied the violin. His interest in composition reached its peak as he joined the school's symphony orchestra – Orchestre Philharmonique Sainte-Trinité. There he discovered the works of such composers as Justin Elie and Ludovic Lamothe who greatly influenced his signature as a composer. Each of his pieces is an experiment that aims to provide a unique listening experience.
