About Us

Friends of Alice Ivy's protagonists, Kylie (voices) and Amps (instruments and programming) were (are!?) members of Australian ethereal/gothic band Ostia, a band that made a significant impact on Australia's shoegaze/darkwave/gothic scene in the early to mid-nineties.

Friends of Alice Ivy recently released a new EP "In the Gloaming" which captures a range of emotion and feeling, from the intense brooding melancholy of its opening track "Song of Somnus", to the delicate, almost medieval lament of "The Summerland Meadows", it is a work of outstanding beauty and melancholy.
