Frazer Mac (born August 3, 1988), better known by his stage name FRAZER is a Canadian award winning singer and songwriter. Splitting his time between his native city of Toronto and Los Angeles, Frazer is working with some of the biggest names in the biz. With three radio singles currently playing on the Top 40 and Hot AC charts, Frazer is on the trampoline of the music industry, gaining momentum to reach it's highest peaks.
In 2012, Frazer was named the 'Grand Prize Winner' in the 'Pop' category of the internationally renowned 2011 John Lennon Songwriting Contest (JLSC) for his song "Green Light." Later that year, Frazer nabbed two of the three finalist positions in the 'Pop' category of the JLSC for his songs "Walk of Shame" and "Goodbye." In the fall of 2012, Frazer was honored to be recognized as the "Best Electronic" artist at the 2011/2012 Toronto Independent Music Awards for his song "Blackout." Frazer wrapped up 2012 as the "Dance/Electronic" winner of the prestigious 2012 UK Songwriting Contest.
With a record setting 20,000+ entries received by the prestigious 2012 International Songwriting Competition (ISC), Frazer is excited that both his radio singles, “Walk of Shame” in the ‘Dance/Electronica’ category and “Addicted” in the ‘Pop/Top 40′ category, have been named “Semi-Finalists.” This is the third songwriting win for “Walk of Shame,” having already won in The 2012 UK Songwriting Contest, as well as The 2012 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Frazer is thrilled to be included in this years list of semi-finalists alongside Grammy Award winner Kimbra (Somebody That I Used To Know). This years judges include artists Tom Waits, Martina McBride, Janelle Monae, Nas, Bernie Taupin, Avicii, Tegan and Sara, and industry professionals including Monte Lipman (CEO Universal Republic) and Dan McCarroll (President of Capitol/Virgin).
