In 2005, FORD took a hiatus from the music industry to write and publish a book on higher consciousness and self-realization, a subject at the heart of FORDs life. This real life guru has become well known in the circles of expanded consciousness and enlightenment and his book, "Becoming God" is seeing the same success as his music releases (at one time reaching the No. 2 position on the Lulu Best Seller list). "After publishing the book, I really didn't know what I wanted to do. The logical next move was to combine my two favorite loves together, New Wave 80s music and the topic of conversation that we all secretly love to ponder. It was simply the law of attraction that moved me into a universe where 80s music was making a huge comeback." The lyrics of all of FORDs songs are philosophically deep and thought provoking.
