Escape Route 36 (also known as ER36) is a band of five 15/16 year old students from Oathall Community College, Haywards Heath in the UK.
Josie Charlwood is on keyboards and vocals, Ben Fadero on lead guitar, Jack Partridge on rhythm guitar, Joel Hardingham on bass guitar and Ben Waggett is on drums and percussion.
Their debut album ‘No Divider’ is a collection of ten totally original and varied songs. All the songs were written by Josie Charlwood except 'Stuck in Reverse' and 'Simplicity Refined' which were written jointly by lead guitarist Ben Fadero and Josie.
Warren Angelo, radio presenter from Sussex’s Bright FM Radio, who formerly ran a record label himself, said to ER36:
“I love your album ‘No Divider’, it's a really interesting collection of songs and one to be really proud of. Josie's vocals are entrancing and captivating, excellent style/delivery. Song lyrics and arrangements are very clever and lock-in the listener. Beats & rhythms nice & funky/jazzy and hypnotic at times creating a real ‘draw’ into the songs.”
