Elliott Small / Biography

Rock and Roll hall of fame member Jerry Butler's reaction was "I love it!" when he heard "Why Not," which is set in Barbados because Elliott's father is from there. In the summer of 2010, Elliott met with Butler in Chicago.

Elliott Small was honored by a request from Randy Hall to collaborate on an album.

Randy was discovered by Miles Davis. Shortly after Randy’s time at the Berklee College of Music, Randy co-arranged Miles Davis’ gold comeback album, The Man With The Horn.

Now Randy has discovered the rare and unique voice of Elliott Small.

Elliott is a Harvard College graduate in biochemical sciences and founder of the electric vehicle technology company, potentialdifference.com, which built one of the nation’s most advanced all electric demo cars and has funding to develop patented rapid battery charging technology.

The company has charged off-the-shelf batteries in as little as 12 minutes without overheating, removing the key barrier in the change from fossil fuels to electric vehicles. The sales of these songs will enhance those efforts.

On October 17, 2009, Elliott sang with the legendary Archie Shepp at the Theatre de Chelles in France and was very well received.

While in Washington, DC, Elliott was selected for the WPFW Radio Spring Showcase Concert Series, June 15, 2007. The station manager indicated that the performance made his night.

Randy produced, wrote the music, played piano and guitar, & wrote lyrics for Share Your Love and Delightful. Cheryl Davis wrote tracks lyrics for Only With You, Why Not, and Our World.
