Double Female Orchestra　BIO

D.F.O.(Digital feature Orchestra) was consisted of five members(three violinists,one keyboardist and DTX player) around 10 years ago. They released a few albums and play silent musical instruments on their stage. Finally they changed the member and broken up.

In 2007, two members of them put together again as new D.F.O. , SHIHO TERADA on keyboards and MIKA NARAMURA on violins. They released an album titled "Precious Season" which included the ending theme of a program in TV Asahi. They tried to collaborate with a unit of artist MireyHIROKI and composed their theme song known as "Flower".

Now D.F.O. evolve into " Double Female Orchestra”(DFO) in 2009.They can compose and play as a full orchestra with only two players!They show us extraordinary world in our routine life and nobody can forget their great deep original sounds and techniques that are matched by none. They will release their "1st" album on September 2nd,2009.

SHIHO TERADA

From Miyazaki Prefecture,JPN/Blood type: B/Graduated from Kunitachi Collage of Music./ She produces many theme songs on TV. Th Other music of the movie"Zero kara no kaze"(2007),"Kimi ni todoku koe"(2008) . She also composed the music of the drama on TV"Oretachi ha tenshida" from July 2009. As a player supported Aya matsuura,Iwao Furusawa,JAM Project and so on.

MIKA NARAMURA

from Chiba Prefecture,JPN/Blood type : AB/Started to play violin when she was 4years old./Graduated from Tokyo Collage of Music./ She supported Taro Hakase,Southern All Stars,B'z,Stieve Jansen and so on. Also Plays in the stage of play.Now she is a member of group of Seiko Kikuchi.
