Known for witty lyrics and unhinged guitar-picking, Delmark Goldfarb is heard worldwide on folk, blues and country radio. Among his admirers are heavyweights such as Billy Joe Shaver and John Sebastian, and others found at the junction of “outlaw” meets “jug band.”
“The best new writer of good-time music,” according to former Lovin’ Spoonful frontman Sebastian.
Del’s tune "Portable Man" is featured on the Appleseed Records’ “Give Us Your Poor” compilation, along with artists such as Bonnie Raitt and Keb’ Mo’ and he can be seen in the new jug band documentary, “Chasin’ Gus’ Ghost.”
A recent music review (Kingston Daily Freeman) cited Del’s all-original solo cd “a must-have for any purist.”
