Blair is a young musician from San Francisco who [with the support of Steven G for live shows] is much better known as Deep Dimension.

As Deep Dimension Blair mixes alternative rock and pop roots with an electro sound that is influenced by a lot of all night raves and video game soundtracks. What comes out of this er, partying is an alt electro rock/pop sound that is now catching a lot of people’s attention.

Blair himself actually first started playing guitar at 13, after learning some chords from his father. He then started singing and performing live at the age of 14 and at 15 joined his first band as lead guitar.

He was the only member under 18 at the time and, when the band started playing in night clubs, the band members would often bring their own sharpie to mark an X on Blair’s hands in an effort to keep security from checking his [non-existent] ID.

Shocking behaviour.

Soon Blair became proficient on bass and drums and started writing and recording his own material.

Several bands later and, after plenty of time working on his craft, Blair decided to start his own project, and Deep Dimension was born.

So far Deep Dimension has released a single [Breathing, available online] with the debut EP, Air Ways [Signshop Records] out on 27 February.
