Born into a large family that included an older brother and two younger sisters, Dave inherited his music ability from his mother. While his taste for music differed than the show tunes and plays his mother grew up performing, it was her old beat up classical guitar that first peaked his musical interest. And it was at the family church, where the music was lead by a rock band that Dave at the age of 11 started to experience and cultivate his own musical talents.

Now Dave writes and produces his own original songs along with his good friend Brian Sanchez. Using his own personal experiences, like the loss of his mother to cancer in 1998, he is able to capture certain emotions as shown in “Jonathan’s Song,” which he wrote for a good friend after his brother was tragically killed. His family is also extremely important to him as is shown in the song he wrote for his wife, “Beauty Becomes.”

Dave continues to work on his music and is continually writing and creating full production versions of his songs. He knows that hard work, consistency and a pursuit of excellence will eventually lead to success, and he hopes to one day establish himself as a contributor within the music industry.
