Born Daniel Charles Mart on the 29th of May, 1984. Raised in a small village called South Normanton. "I grew up in a dance and musical surrounding my parents and grandparents were all singers and performed on stage from an early age. Music is in the family blood."

From the age of 7 he danced competitive Ballroom, Latin, Jazz and Disco winning awards and competitions all over the country.

At the ...age of 16 along with a close friend the duo 'Next' was formed. "We toured the club circuit performing covers from an array of different artists."

Next became a household name on the club scene.
