“Miracle & Music”
To all you rock and roll “tributeers” out there with the range and charisma to impressively impersonate many popular singers, remember…there has to be an original image of you in there somewhere. After 20+ years entertaining audiences with cover rock music from Aerosmith to Zep (and just about anything in between), along with a decade of Donald Fagen(Steely Dan Tribute Show), Daniel Clarion is finally giving the music industry his true intention as an artist, from the inside out. But first, how he got stuck in the cover music game for so long is, well…unconscionable.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda then didn’t: at the age of 17, Dan’s plan to head west and play baseball, study journalism, and work as a musician on the side was ripped apart by a freak accident on Memorial Day, 1981. Struck in the skull by a rogue baseball, he suffered a traumatic brain injury diagnosed disastrous at best. After dealing with seizures, aphasia and constant fatigue daily for an agonizing and cloudy ten years…his strong spiritual connection to life, and the power of music, became his pathway to healing, reason and purpose.
But the past is past, and the focus is now. Clarion has a spiritual rock vision to influence unity far beyond what’s out there today. Engaging, eclectic, and anti-dogmatic; his material is ready to shake up the rock world, unleash a universal consciousness to the music mainstream, and boldly go where no singer/songwriter has gone before. Like Lennon’s timeless song IMAGINE mixed with Bill Maher’s RELIGULOUS, his concept is controversial with positive intent. With a little help from Ryan West (grammy-winning engineer), and a quarter century of LIVE performance under his belt, chances of attention as a new artist are better than ever.
