Dale Poune has been a musician and songwriter his whole life ,one of the lucky ones. Dale plays guitar, dobro, mandolin, bass and Sings. He has performed with the Fortunes, Buddy Miles, The Coasters, and The Drifters.
He is currently working with Independent country artist Lacy J Dalton. He still tours with the Fortunes and you can catch him between tours in local clubs as a single.
Dale's first solo album was titled "Loose Ends" and he has just released a second CD titled "Guitar Pizza on the Pepo records label. Four of the Comstock Cowboy albums feature guitar, bass and vocal work by Dale, "Gather round Cowboys", "Break it to the Cowboy" a gospel album titled"I was never Alone" featuring duets with David John(Cowboys lead singer) and Lacy J Dalton and The just released "Songslinger". Dale played acoustic guitar on Lacy J Dalton's latest release "This Close",
Dale has also released a CD of Newgrass songs with the band The Cripple Creek Boys titled "Sittin in Tall Cotton". Other titles include the PM band CD release "We only come out at Night," Platimum Rose CD "Time Enough for Love" and "Live and Kickin" Jon Washingtons Fortunes. Dale wrote the single "Oh Video" for the PM Band released on the Licorce label. That single recieved quite a bit of airplay in the Northwest in the 80s.
