I am just a simple guitar player/ singer/ Songwriter..I have enjoyed recording and posting my songs here on Jango..I am honored by those of you that have joined my fan list..It is my pleasure to sing for you..

I was born in a small town of about 3400 people..I started playing guitar at the age of 12..I have never gone more than a few days without playing or practicing with it since..I know if you want to be better with the guitar..You have to practice..

I didn't start writing songs till I was about 40..I had a notion that I could write something someone would want to hear..I wrote songs and sent them to any publisher that was accepting material..I got really good at accepting rejection..My first break came when I entered the BillBoard song writing contest..I received an award for every song I submitted..Some were in the top 25%, some were in the top 5%..This was an honor for a small time country boy like me..4 of my songs were recorded by a semi-famous recording artist..We had a release party and the whole nine yards..We even gave away free T-Shirts with my song "HURRICANE WITH A WOMAN'S NAME" on them..I guess you know...We didn't make a million dollars..The CD had limited success..BUT...What a ride..The other songs on the CD were..BLINK OF AN EYE..10, 6, and 4..and CALL OF THE WILD(on a cellular phone)..They are on my YouTube site, but I don't have a professional recording of them for me to post here on Jango..I now have a good recording of CALL OF THE WILD(on a cellular phone)..Check it out..
